Binu Malayil was born in 1971 at Kerala – India and he started his career in Africa since 1995 with Computer Point Ltd., the company was established in 1991 in Uganda – East Africa.

Binu Malayil came to Rwanda with his business associates and started a Company in 2001 Computer Point Ltd as part of Uganda. Computer Point Ltd has devolved as the best IT Solution Company in the whole East & Central Africa.

Company has received many awards and recognition and in July 2003, the Certificate of Excellence Award for its commendable performance & dedication for the successful implementation of COMSYS Project for Ministry of Justice, from His Excellency Dr. Paul Kagame, President of Republic of Rwanda.

Binu Malayil received the International Star Award for best businessman in Gold & Platinum category at the Quality Convention in Geneva & America in October 2003 2004 and held position of Vice Chairman of Rwanda Information and Communication Technology Association (RICTA) to guide and promote the strategic ICT development plan to contribute towards the achievement of vision 2020 of Rwanda. He is also a Golden Circle Member of Rwanda PSF (Private Sector Federation) and he delivered his best to build up a Chamber for the ICT in Rwanda along with serious market players who had contributed to the development of the Country in the field of IT.

Binu Malayil is a Rotarian since, 2009 and also very much involved in many social and cultural activities in Rwanda since 2001. In 2013, he was selected as a President of the Rotary Club of Kigali Virunga after serving different positions in various activities and also received PHF in 2014 & in 2016 he become the MPHF. He is also a sports enthusiast person and his company actively involved in different sports events in Rwanda. He was also a part of World Malayalee Council as Vice President, Public Relation – Africa Region under guidance of Advisory Board, Global Executive Council, Global Cabinet & Regional Committee members. He had being aggressively involved in many social activities in and out of the Country.
